Not really, I was really disappointed. It wasn’t what I expected. There are some beautiful artefacts there, and modern works of art, but I, naively, was expecting more of a story of how the indigenous American Indians were practically wiped out and stories of how they lived etc.
are there lines in the entrance on the mornings usually? and can I bring food in my backpack and just leave it at the entrance?

Time of year and day of the week will dictate lines. We went on a Sunday in May. Summer will be busier. But most places we went to we got there at opening time and that worked out …
Time of year and day of the week will dictate lines. We went on a Sunday in May. Summer will be busier. But most places we went to we got there at opening time and that worked out well. Statue of Liberty is busy all day all times, but first boat is best. Most places have airport style security. And lockers to check bags that aren’t allowed. I believe I saw backpacks in the museum.
