Honestly it was kind of boring. I believe because I rode during a drought that the views were not as splendid as they probably are when the river is running at fuller capacity. But the trail, itself,…karalou12的完整评论

I am planning to take my two disabled dogs on a hike in September or early October. They're both small, around 10lbs and I have a Doggyride stroller for them to travel in. One is paralyzed in her hind end, the other has severely deformed legs. Walking is not an option for them. They're getting older, soon to be 11 and 14 and I want them to enjoy their twilight years. I thought a hike on the trail would be fun for them. My question is this: because we're walking, where would be the best place to start? I only have three days for hiking so I was wondering if starting at a midpoint location and hiking one direction and back on one day and maybe hiking in the other direction and back on the second or third day (depending on how this Mama is feeling) would be the best idea. If we can camp on the trail somewhere, that would be okay too. I've been looking at the maps but was hoping someone who's been on the trail would have a suggestion. I don't think shuttling is an option for us and I hate to count on that anyway since I read a recent review that someone was unable to secure shuttle. I can't take the chance of being stranded with my pups. Thanks for your help!

The trail is flat and easy to walk. I saw a few camping areas on the trail but can't reccomend using them.....there are bears in the area
