I'm confused. Do we start at the First State Heritage Park Welcome Center or the Delaware State Museum Visitor Center? We want to tour the Old State House, Legislative Hall (Capitol Bldg.), Woodburn (where we have an appointment) and end up at the John Bell House for a walk around the Green. Where should we park? Thank you for your question! The best place to start is the First State Heritage Park Welcome Center & Galleries (121 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. N - formerly 121 Duke of York Street). The Delaware State Museum Visitor Center moved to its current location and the name was changed at the same time. There is plenty of free, all-day parking available there at the Welcome Center. If you need to drive between places, there is also on-street parking available - but with time restrictions. If you ever want to tour any of our locations, you can call 302-739-9194 and we would be happy to create a customized schedule for you and your group - whether it is just one person, or several bus loads!
