The day I was there is was a little on the cold side and no one was around. I was the lifeguard there when I was in college back in the early 70's and back then dogs were allowed on the beach and in the water. I do not know if that has changed but if I was to guess it is the same. The bath houses and area has not changed so - I would assume nothing else changed..Owners were required to keep dogs tied when on the beach and in control in the water
