It’s pretty easy, although with any bush walking there’s uneven ground in places. Hope that helps.

Yes there is! There are taps. But the water came out brown... We didn't use it for drinking, just washing up and to fill hot water bottles. There's also taps in the bathroom to brush teeth etc

Which site are you staying at? Super close from Bald Rock camping ground but an extra 30 mins from Castle Rock camping ground. We always stay at Bald Rock and most recently, with my 12 yo son we went for a walk during the day to The Pyramid and then a torch light walk too which was fun which traversed the water holes. However be careful not to fall in as the current is fast and strong. If you feel you need a swim (you might if the weather is anything like the last couple of days here in QLD!), there are a couple of swimming spots up stream.

Is there hot water available at the Castle Rock camping ground of Girraween National Park??? I see there are hot showers but is there a kitchen sink or other tap that I can collect hot water from?? thanks :)

Hot water is available only for shower I think. You need to boil the cold water if you want it for other purpose. By the way the water there is not drinkable unless you boil it for 10min first.
