Any recommendations to which airport to land from Istanbul ? How long do i need to stay in the area to cover the area ? i am mostly interested in the view and would like to try the hot air ballon. I have my parents with me is it tough to travel around without renting a car ? I will be travelling in April.

Stay at Falcon cave suites one of the best cave hotels in Goreme within a decent budget costing about 50 dollars a night for a three bed cave room with huge bath. There are no fees or times. This is an open air park, that is all over around you, when you are in Goreme. The only thing with opening times and tickets is the Ooen Air Museum, 1.5 km from the town, where you can visit several rock chapels. It opens from 8 to 5, or 6. Tickets around 3 €.
