Hi we want to take the trail to Iceberg lake. I have a one and half years old daughter. My husband is going to carry her. We are not great hikers. But we really want to go there. I wanted to know how hard is it? Is it possible to go there with my daughter? How difficult was the first part? Any image or description would be really great. Please let me know. We really appreciate this help. Thanks.

Once you reach the "top", you'll be walking on a fairly flat trail similar to a rails-to-trails incline for the majority of the way. In regard to carrying your daughter, it would be difficult to hike this trail with her in your arms, not to mention that it's not safe. If you mean that your husband will have her in a backpack carrier, then that's perfectly doable.
Plowing Going-to-the-Sun Road is a monumental challenge each year. Unpredictable spring snow storms or other weather related events can slow down plowing progress. It is not...
