No passes needed - but this is inaccessible now unless you have touring skis or snowshoes
Hi there. I'm traveling up that way at the end of September. Wondering if it's advisable for a single woman to hike the trail alone? I'm in good shape, can easily hike 6-7 miles on some mild to moderately challenging terrain. I'd love to do the Chain Lakes Loop, but wasn't sure about the wisdom of walking it alone (both in terms of people and wildlife). Advice/thoughts?
