Hello, We are a group of 6 and are travelling to Chain in the second week of October and have about 2.5 days in Lijiang. I would like to visit the Jade Dragon mountain. Can we buy the tickets online in advance? We plan to carry simple sweaters and jackets but do we need to carry snow boots?

Not sure if you can make online reservation. We bought the ticket there. You need jacket, wind-breaker, but snow boots not necessary as there are walking platform.
Only have 1 1/2 days in Lijiang and wondering if taking the trip to jade dragon mtn is worthwhile? We would be doing a private tour and the whole day would be 8 hrs.
