I'm trying to decide if we should go to the Children's museum on our weekend trip to New Orleans. My children are ages 7, 9 & 12. Is this geared for younger children? As a family of 6 I don't want want to spend $40+ for them to be 'bored'.

We've been twice, once when our daughters were 5 and 6, and again this summer. They are 10 and 11 now, enjoying it as much as before. It's fun for the kids and adults along with history about New Orleans, the Mississippi Delta and other local attractions. The National WW2 museum is about a 5 minute walk away and is honestly one of the best museums I've ever toured. It's hard for kids to comprehend but is honesty very informative. Good Luck!
