Can’t fault it really. We used it a couple of times to travel from the beach near golden sands to the main mablethorpe centre. Cost was £1.50 each and all of the drivers were incredibly friendly.MarieLNottm的完整评论

Hi Paula, The Sand Train is absolutely magic and has been going since 1952. It stopped because of Covid and Paul, the operator had to go and work in a Grimsby fish factory. We are such fans that we wanted to send some support but Paul declined and said he was holding his own. Regret to tell you that when my daughter was at the coast a few weeks ago, the train was not operating . Last week we were in Mablethorpe but didn’t check the sea front as folks were not social distancing very well because of numbers. Economically , social distancing measures would limit the income of the train anyway as it is often packed with riders. I would be most surprised if the train was running in October. The train may not run on every part of October in a normal year as the season has started to close by then When the pandemic is over , then you are in for a treat , especially if you have not been on the train before. Great value and the only one of its kind. Paul is a lovely guy too. If you haven’t been on the train then part of me envies you because the first ride is kind of special , I think.
