Hello, We booked through Jade Tours-they were fantastic, but we were staying in Manuel Antonio, and the Nauyaca Waterfalls are south of there an hour or so, so from Guancaste - it would be maybe 4 or so hours away, which may be too far. It was fabulous though!! Good Luck!!

The road is very rocky and it is up and down a lot. Unless they are very used to a horse it may be wiser to get to the falls a different way. The guides will assist if you are having trouble getting on or off the horses but it really depends how mobile the women are. I hadn't ridden in over ep years and while the skills came back, my rear end was sore for a week after. I'm sure there is a other ways to get to the falls like hiking in. There is a rest stop half way with washrooms and a small restaurant.
