Iconic symbol of Naxos. It comes into view as the ferry arrives into port. To reach it, you have to walk on a footpath leading to the temple with the sea on both sides. Beware of sea sprays on a wind…martin L的完整评论

The ruined temple gateway is fenced off. You could not actually stand in the gateway. You could get to within a few metres of it. It would be a very romantic place even so - good luck!

Hello, do you think it's possible to ride ATV's to the location of the Portara? My bf and I are staying at Hotel Naxos Resort and I am trying to figure out if our best option is to hike there, or ride the ATV's. Not up the cliff obvi, but just to get there. Did you guys see/ come across other people doing this?
答:
Portara is exactly by the port, so if you arrived by Ferry, you can see it, it will be on your left side. There are parking for cars on the street so I assume you can.
