Plenty of free parking. You may have to walk a block or so. The Art Museum nearby is free on Sundays and has free parking too. Nice place to cool off aswell.
The Riverwalk is not the best place since there are pedestrians that you have to look out for. But it really depends on how busy it is. It could be a lovely ride because of the scenery.
