滨海绍森德是一个位于英国埃塞克斯郡的城市、单一管理区，位于伦敦以东40英里，处于泰晤士河口北部，是埃塞克斯郡滨海度假胜地。当地的绍森德码头是世界上最长的休闲码头。 伦敦绍森德机场位于市中心以北1.5海里。2011年人口总计有174,300人。 最初因为处于村庄普里特韦尔南部而被称为“south end”，后来渐渐化为现名。在乔治王时代成为著名的度假胜地，在夏季吸引大批游客前来。因为和伦敦有方便的铁路交通使得其经济更加发达。 1892年才组成当地政府。
