Great view, but too rocky and a lot of algae washed ashore. Smells bad If you plan on staying on the grassy area and playing volley ball in the man made sand pit then it’s probably great but not why…Amanda P的完整评论

Regarding access to Sunnyside Beach in the city of Steilacoom Access to the park is very good. There are no steps, just a wide concrete walkway with a slight sloping grade down to the park from the parking lot. The parking lot is paved. You do have to go across tow sets of railroad tracks that separate the parking lot from the park, but they have put concrete in between the rails and it should be easy for a wheel chair. The bathrooms and changing areas in the park all meet ADA standards. The lawn is mostly flat and picnic tables are available. The two vollyball courts are sand and would be hard to negotiate if you wanted to play vollyball. Now, getting to the water is something else. Drift wood is in the way, and I don't believe there is any wide, paved access to the water. If you wanted to get to the water, be sure to plan your visit for high tide as that will make the distance to the water shorter...once you find a way over the drift wood and the soft sand/gravel to get to the water. Hope this helps. Dave Cherrick
