March seems a very good time to visit the Delta. Very green. Drying out from rains of January and February. Temperatures delightful day and night and perfect for a camping safari, with clear skies …CCleChat的完整评论

Go in the wet seasons when you can go in a mokoro canoe down the canals the elephants create by walking through the tall grasses. Amazing place to be.M6983QDmarcom的完整评论

I recommend Safari Specialists. They organiced the whole trip and booked for us the 6- night camping part from Maun up to Kasane with Bushways, which I recommend too. I do not recommend at all the one day boat trip with Endurance Travel. Boats are not reliable and they do not refund you if the engine breaks in the middle of the Delta and you have to end your day trip.
Hi! We are going to the Okavango in July and are trying to decide on a mokoro company, a plane/helicopter company etc. We are looking for a great experience, but also bang for our buck (not looking to take expensive tours with huge profit margins for rich companies). Any suggestions? Thanks a lot for any help you can provide! Matt

Lekko, who runs SwampLogoons Tours out of Maun, is extremely affordable but an excellent guide. My husband and I had a fantastic 3-day mokoro camping trip with him in 2017. We still keep in touch by email and facebook. A beautiful adventure. Enjoy your time there!

I think everyone will have a different story based on individual experience with their respective tours. During our time there we went with Sun Safari's who hire subcontractors for the job. You might try researching reviews of individual tours for your answer. In the end it's based on local knowledge, how long they have done the job, how long your out there during the day and just some plain good luck with seeing elusive lions and leopards. It's a big area and animals move about constantly.
