Does the train out of Skagway enter Canada at all As I don’t have a passport

You do enter Canada briefly on the White Pass train but as you don’t get off you don’t need a passport to board the train!

If you stay in your seat you I believe will be fine. You get some great views and are safe in the confines of the train car

Sorry, let me clarify my previous answer. We were guaranteed seating, but there was no assigned seating. All seats are good. Just pray that it's not a foggy day, is why we chose midday.
