Mostly you go from hot to hut, there is the control tower to go into, and there is the hanger that is undercover, but you will need to wear a waterproof coat or have an umbrella to go from place to place. Yes you could do it in the rain, but bear in mind it is an airfield museum. I planned my day when it was dry, and went to other place when raining. Like the Railway Museum, which is all undercover and you need to give it a whole day to see everything. Also there is York Minster, another place to go on a wet day. Hope this helps you Paul.
