Hi Jessica C We stayed in our own caravan in the Big4 so I am not sure about the cabins, but the park is only 9k from the CBD, we use to get on the bus just across the road and used the card that the park office lady let us borrow, we had to put our own money on the card but it worked out very cheap transport as we went into the CBD everyday by bus and changing over to a tram to go the rest of the way into the CBD, there is so much to see in Melbourne, we loved walking around the CBD and there is a free tram that will take you around the CBD, the big4 park is very helpful with information on all of this, I hope this has been helpful, have a wonderful holiday.
