We certainly do offer the Junior Open Water Course!! Blue Magic Scuba is a PADI 5 Star IDC Center and as such we offer all PADI courses!! The Junior Open Water course is usually completed in just 3 fun days and the price of US$425 includes all learning materials, instructors, fun, all equibment and 4 Open Water dives. :)
Does one have to know how to swim to scuba dive? Is it a requirement?

I'd suppose so! haha You should just learn how to swin before trying any other aquatic activity. it'll be easy and it'll change you for the rest of your life.
When I contacted the shop about a package with Grand Park Royal, the quote said that they wanted to be paid in cash in Cozumel. Has anyone done this? Has anyone had any problems? I just don't want to get down to Cozumel for vacation and have my plans fall through?

All hotel "sleep and dive" packages need a deposit of 50%. This is paid with a credit card or PayPal. The balance is usually paid in cash here in Cozumel to avoid the 16% sales tax. You …
All hotel "sleep and dive" packages need a deposit of 50%. This is paid with a credit card or PayPal. The balance is usually paid in cash here in Cozumel to avoid the 16% sales tax. You can of course pay the balance with a credit card, but then we must collect the local sales tax.
