We had met excellent sommelier who presented a little bit of their history, how they make wine and finally recommended a selection of wines which were very good.ikar_tom45的完整评论

This was a very interest tour to learn all about port. We had the two tasting tour and that was more than adequate. We didn’t really love port as it is too sweet for us. I would still recommend doing…DotsGirl2的完整评论
Hi, we plan to do the wine+chocolate pairing tour. How long does it take to complete this tour? Would you recommend doing the Fado option as well? What are the other Porto attractions that you could combine with this?( will be in Porto only for a day). Thanks in advance!

Hi! Prepare to budget at least an hour to an hour and a half for the tour. Then it is nice to be along the river, on either side, for snacks and drinks and often there will be live music, as well as craft vendors. Getting a day pass/ticket for a hop on hop off tour bus, is also an idea, as you can see the city and there are some tickets that even include a short river tour. A Fado show with dinner option will be enjoyable for the evening. Porto is wonderful, hope you have a great time!
Hello, I’m thinking of doing this tour with my two kids ages 3 and 6. I read from the reviews that the tour part is only 20-30 mins so I think they could handle that, and I figure if we do the option with the chocolate & cheese or the fado music, they’d like that too. Plus, it isn’t a far walk from the bridge, so we could combine those two. Do you think this port house is fairly kid-friendly? Or is somewhere else better? Or should I just skip a port house since I’ll have the kids? Also, what how long is the whole experience, including the fado show? Thanks!

I think it is worth doing. I think we were in the building for about 90 minutes. There’s an interactive educational area before you go in for the tour and there were young children in thee who seemed entertained. There are buttons to press, lights come on etc. I’m not sure they appreciated what the lights meant, but they were entertained!
