Dr. Merica Shrestha is a specialty care physician board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, and internal medicine with Inova Endocrinology. She joined Inova Health System in 2020, and has been practicing since 2007. Dr. Shrestha evaluates and treats a broad spectrum of endocrinology conditions. She has special interests in fine-needle aspiration biopsies of thyroid nodules, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and complex diabetes management. She is passionate about creating trusting partnerships with her patients, in order to help improve disease burden and quality of life.
