Christmas Day playing time is at the top of the Chiefs’ holiday wishlist. Kansas City wants to be a staple in the NFL’s Dec. 25 slate moving forward and has requested such to the league, The Athletic reported Wednesday, with the Chiefs “expected to be one of the teams to play” on the holiday later this year.

It's a possibility, according to a Wednesday morning report from Daniel Popper and Nate Taylor of The Athletic. Per Popper and Taylor, "when it comes to domestic standalone games, the Chiefs have requested that the NFL make them a fixture on Christmas Day, according to a league source."

Throughout this entire past season, clamors of the NFL being rigged in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs were deafening. With each win the team secured, they inched closer to being
