The Houston area is among the worst in the country for air quality, according to the American Lung Association's State of the Air report. Greater Houston ranked as the seventh-worst area for high ozone days and eighth-worst for year-round particle pollution.

The LA area is once again the worst for ozone in the U.S., a pollutant impacting millions more people nationwide, the American Lung Association said.
