Klaskala, along with Aria co-owners Ron San Martin and George McKerrow, will sell the restaurant to longtime general manager Andrés Loaiza, according to the announcement. “It’s time,” Klaskala said in a prepared statement. “It’s been a great, great ride. I’m satisfied.”

Gerry Klaskala, chef and owner of Aria, part of Eater Atlanta’s Best 38 Restaurants, is retiring after 25 years of running the staple Buckhead restaurant. He is handing over the reins to longtime general manager Andrés Loaiza, who will become the new owner.

On the 25th anniversary of Aria, chef and owner Gerry Klaskala announced his retirement. Andres Loaiza, the long-time General Manager, will take over.

Aria, located along East Paces Ferry Road NE in Buckhead, is a finalist in the category of outstanding hospitality.
