A barefoot man who scaled Big Ben's tower with a Palestine flag has been on the building for more than seven hours.

A pro-Palestine protester has been arrested after spending more than 16 hours perched on top of the clock tower of Big Ben.

A man who scaled the clock tower of Big Ben on Saturday morning came down just after midnight on Sunday, having spent hours barefoot and holding a Palestine flag on the Elizabeth Tower.
