西部陆海新通道是由中国西部省份与东盟国家合作打造的国际陆海贸易新通道，北接丝绸之路经济带，南连21世纪海上丝绸之路，协同衔接长江经济带，在区域协调发展格局中具有重要战略地位。2017年，以广西为重要节点，纵贯我国西部、北接丝绸之路经济带、南连21世纪海上丝绸之路的西部陆海新通道开始建设。2019年8月，国家发展改革委印发《西部陆海新通道总体规划》，明确到2025年将基本建成西部陆海新通道。
