Los Angeles authorities have arrested a man suspected of using a chain saw to cut down several trees along streets across the city.

A suspect was arrested after surveillance video and community tips led police to a man they say used a chain saw to cut down at least 13 trees in and around downtown Los Angeles.

Police have arrested Samuel Patrick Groft, 44, for allegedly hacking down several downtown Los Angeles trees with a chainsaw over the weekend.
