There's only a little over a month or so until the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC drops for FromSoftware's 2022 Game of the Year-winning ARPG Elden Ring, and hype for the expansion is starting to escalate.

While DLC for Elden Ring Nightreign sounds like an obvious move, it invites comparisons to Shadow of the Erdtree as well as Elden Ring.
