From Software's popular RPG Elden Ring is expanding to a new platform: Switch 2. As part of the Nintendo Direct today, Nintendo and Bandai Namco confirmed Elden Ring for the console. Elden Ring will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 later this year. A specific release date was not announced, however.

FromSoftware ’s Elden Ring is making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2, and it’s coming with a bang. Announced today during the Nintendo Direct, the Tarnished Edition will be landing on the Switch 2 later this year, allowing you to dive into the sprawling, treacherous world of the Lands Between on Nintendo's powerhouse new console.

While Mario Kart World is headlining the Switch 2 launch lineup, there are plenty of third-party games coming to the platform as well.
