Find My Device depends on two things being enabled: the feature itself (of course) and Google’s Location services. In addition, the phone also has to be turned on and signed in to a Google account.

But the lost phone will need an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data) and Location enabled for live tracking. Find My Device also notifies the lost phone when it's being tracked.

It's incredibly common to misplace your smartphone on occasion. If it happens within the comfort and safety of your own home, then searching for the device shouldn't be that big of an issue.

Google Find My Device option is available on everyone's phone. With its help, you can find out the exact location of your phone. It shows the current location along with the accurate location.
