On Thursday at 12:07 p.m. the NWS Fort Worth TX released a flash flood warning in effect until 4 p.m. The warning is for Hood, Johnson, Erath and Somervell counties.

A series of storms have begun to drench parts of the central U.S. and trigger flash flood warnings. See which areas are most affected.

The heavy rain will continue off and on into the afternoon hours with more storms developing overnight into Thursday.
