A massive wildfire continues to burn in New Jersey spanning an estimated 11,500 acres, prompting the evacuation of 5,000 people, snarling traffic and sending huge plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky.

New Jersey officials have issued an evacuation order and have diverted traffic on the Garden State Parkway as the wildfire that began on Tuesday has grown to 8,500 acres. WCAU's Aaron Baskerville reports.
