Seventeen kidnap victims abducted on March 3, 2025, from Loto Village via Kuchi Sarkin-Pawa in Niger State have been rescued and reunited with the state government.

The festival torch was lit by Olympian Enefiok Udo-Obong and was supported by Festival Ambassadors, including Victor Ikpeba and others.
