RIPLEY, WV (WOWK) — Ripley City Councilmember John McGinley passed away Saturday night after a battle with cancer. McGinley’s daughter, Jennifer McCafferty, announced his passing on Facebook.

John Kevin McGinley left this world behind. He lived his dash well. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Kerry Bart officiating.
