The incident was reported at 4.45am. The traffic site said: "Road closed and queueing traffic due to crash on A19 Southbound from the A179 (Sheraton junction) to A689 Coal Lane (Wolviston).

Temporary traffic lights due to water main work on A19 Clifton Road both ways at Rawcliffe Lane. Expect delays. Until 18:00 on 20th March.
