Kristy Curry’s group will play its first round game in College Park, Maryland. The winner will face either Maryland or Norfolk State in the second round.

Michigan and its star freshmen are taking their game to the sport’s biggest stage. Michigan will be a No. 6 seed in the NCAA women’s basketball Tournament and open against No. 11 seed Iowa State or Princeton. The announcement was made Sunday evening during a televised selection show. Michigan will play it’s first-round game on Friday.
