The third game will reportedly be broadcast on Amazon Prime as part of its "Thursday Night Football" package. Christmas Day falls on a Thursday in 2025.

For the first time since 2022, the NFL won’t start the season with a Chiefs game. The Chiefs had played in the NFL Kickoff Game in the previous two years because they were the defending Super Bowl champions. However, the Chiefs could play in the second game of the 2025 season.
