Brenda Deutsch is facing multiple felony charges after Missouri prosecutors say she allegedly tried to trade a foster child in her care for an "exotic animal."

Brenda Ruth Deutsch of Lincoln County, Missouri, was taken into custody over the weekend and charged with two counts of abuse or neglect of a child and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Brenda Deutsch, who fostered more than 200 children over the years as well as reportedly being a collector of exotic animals, was arrested over the weekend
