研究发现,BmNPV在感染家蚕的过程中,病毒基因组会优先与宿主基因组上的活跃区域,尤其是超级增强子区域进行互动。这种互动不仅允许病毒劫持宿主的GATA转录因子,还阻碍了宿主抗病毒基因的激活,推动了病毒的感染过程。GATA转录因子在定位于超级增强子后,通常是用于激发宿主细胞的抗病毒反应,但在BmNPV的入侵下,这一保护机制却被有效抑制。
