The Federal Aviation Administration is sending a “stress management team” to meet with air traffic controllers at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and making other changes after a string of recent incidents.

The arrest of an F.A.A. employee on assault and battery charges comes as flight operations at the airport have been under scrutiny since a passenger jet and an Army helicopter collided in January.

The March 27 incident was reportedly a "bloody physical fight" involving thrown punches and the drawing of blood.
