Brown Deer/Messmer/Shorewood junior Makhi Rodgers took his shot in the final seconds, trailing 7-4, at securing a match-tying takedown, but it was not to be. Tanner Gormanson of Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln put the match away in the third period with a takedown off of Rodgers' move, securing the D1 285-pound title in a 10-4 final.

All matches will stream live on the NFHS Network on eight mats. Wrestling begins at 10 a.m. CST on Friday. Tickets are $11 per session plus fees. The event will be held at the Kohl Center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin.
