Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson were at the Texas Capitol advocating for SB 22's $500 million Texas film incentives package.

Matthew McConaughey, who has spent more than three decades as an actor, told the Texas Senate Finance Committee on Monday that one of his only regrets is not making more films in Texas.

Senate Bill 22 would create the Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Fund, pumping $500 million every two years into a program intended to bring more moviemaking to Texas.
