A new nominee for Maine's next Public Advocate has been set. Gov. Janet Mills announced her nomination for Heather Sanborn to replace current Public Advocate Bill Harwood when he retires next month.

The move is meant to help determine how much competitive electricity providers overcharge low-income customers.
