Actor Jack Black sits down with TODAY’s Craig Melvin to talk about his role in “The Minecraft Movie” with costar Jason Momoa, who he describes as “a beast master.” He also looks back at his first acting gig in a commercial at age 13 and weighs in on whether some of the classic movies he’s starred in will get sequels.

Jack Black and Jason Momoa are starring in a live-action Minecraft movie directed by Jared Hess. Fans can look forward to an adventurous storyline involving characters navigating the Minecraft world.

During CinemaBlend’s interviews with the Minecraft cast, our own Jeff McCobb spoke to Jack Black and Jason Momoa about working “at 100 in this movie.” He asked what got those guys to that level and if it involved director Jared Hess. In response, Black told us:

During the game, Melvin asked Black to either confirm or deny that a sequel was coming out for one of his popular movies. While he said that it's "not likely" for "School of Rock" to return, he did tell his fans they should get their hopes up for "Jumanji 4."

Jack Black admits that he is uncertain about his place in Jumanji 4. Black has been a main actor in the franchise since he was first introduced in the second movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017).
