Corey Nawrocki, 41, was a volunteer fighter for the Ukrainian armed forces when he was killed in action last October. Moscow’s defence ministry has accused Ukraine of violating a US-brokered moratorium to pause strikes on energy infrastructure, claiming Kyiv carried out six such strikes in the last 24 hours.
