PARKS, Ariz. (AP) — A winter storm dumped heavy snow across northern Arizona on Friday, playing a major factor in a more than 15-mile (24-kilometer) backup on a major interstate.
A winter weather advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service until 5 p.m. April 18, with snow expected above 7,000 feet.
It's a First Alert weather day as a spring storm brings a chance for rain, snow and thunderstorms, along with much cooler temperatures.
