As of March 29, Apple AirPods Max are available for $479.99 at Amazon. That’s $70 off their regular price of $549 during Amazon’s Spring Sale. I fully expected the AirPods Max to be wiped from Amazon’s shelves the second the Spring Sale went live.

The AirPods Max (USB-C) will feature ultra-low latency support, which reduces the delay between sound production and when it is heard. This technology is crucial when timing is essential, such as live music performances, online gaming, telecommunications, and broadcast production.
The 2022 patent suggests that the outer panel of the earcups would be used to control the headphones, like you see on models like the Sony WH-1000XM5. This also didn’t appear on the mid-cycle refresh, so it could be something new for the potential next model.
