“They want us to be silent while the Israeli government continues its genocide, wiping out entire generations of Palestinian families, dropping American bombs on hospitals and dismembering children over and over again,” Tlaib said in a “protect the first amendment” rally posted to X on Tuesday.

Palestinians took part in the largest anti-Hamas protests in Gaza since the war with Israel began. It's a rare show of discontent by the citizens of the war-torn territory.

Hamas has accused the protesters of being Israeli "agents" and ducked the fault protesters have assigned to them. Palestinian protesters took to the streets in Gaza this week to demand an end to the war that has raged there since Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
